Deva is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under Roy Kapur Films. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Pavail Gulati. It is a remake of Andrrews's 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, though with a different climax.
The film was officially announced in May 2023, and principal photography began in October 2023 in Mumbai, wrapping up by September 2024. The film’s soundtrack and background score were composed by Jakes Bejoy, with one song composed by Vishal Mishra. Cinematography was handled by Amit Roy, while A. Sreekar Prasad took care of the editing.
Deva was theatrically released on 31 January 2025, and received mixed reviews from critics. While Kapoor's performance, the cinematography, and editing were praised, the screenplay and climax faced criticism.
